About Meghan Robinson, LPC, CHST

You don’t have to navigate this all on your own.

I’m a therapist in Northern Virginia who specializes in sex, anxiety, and relational & attachment concerns.

Therapy doesn’t mean you need to be fixed. It means you need to be understood.

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that all behavior makes sense in context.

Struggles with sex, anxiety, or relationships don’t happen in a vacuum. They often make sense in the context of past experiences, especially when connection felt unsafe, inconsistent, or out of reach. To cope, you may have learned to shut down, people-please, or over-perform. These strategies helped you survive, but they can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, others, and your sexuality.

In therapy, we’ll explore these patterns with curiosity and care. Grounded in attachment and relational approaches, our work can help you feel safer in your body, your boundaries, and your relationships.

You don’t have to hold it all together here. I welcome individuals, couples, and people in non-monogamous relationships, whoever you are, you’re welcome here.

Therapy with me is…

  • You bring your own set of unique life experiences, perspectives, and stories to therapy. That deserves a personalized approach.

I don’t fit you into a model, I mold my training and expertise around you. Your concern(s) deserve this level of attention and is essential for creating change.
