What if there is nothing wrong with your desire?

It's like it went somewhere and you don’t know how to call it back

"I used to want it. Now I just don't."

"I love my partner. Why don't I want them?"

"Is something wrong with me?"

If you've asked any of these, you're not alone, and you're not broken. Maybe your desire faded slowly, or seemed to vanish overnight. Maybe sex has started to feel like a chore, an obligation, or one more thing on the list. Maybe you avoid a hug because it might turn into something. Maybe you've had your hormones checked, and nothing explained it. And underneath it all is the guilt: for your partner, for yourself, for the version of you who used to want it.

Here's what most people were never told: your sex drive isn't a switch. For a lot of people, it's responsive, showing up once you feel safe, relaxed, and wanted, not before. Stress, resentment, shame, pain, a relationship that feels more like a to-do list, or closeness that started to feel like too much can all quiet it. Low desire is rarely the problem. It's usually information.

Here’s what we’ll do together

Holistic sex therapy for low libido can help your desire feel like yours again.

We start by getting curious, not critical. What was desire like before? What changed, and when? What's going on in your body, your stress, your relationship, and your history? Not to blame anyone, but so the quiet finally makes sense.

Then we look at what desire needs to show up. For some people, that's rest. For others, it's feeling wanted without pressure, or room to say no so that yes can mean something. Underneath, there's often something that's been waiting to be heard: resentment, grief, fear, or closeness that started to feel like too much.

Little by little, you learn how your desire actually works, and what turns it down or turns it up. When there's a medical side, like hormones, medications, or pain, I coordinate with your providers while we work on the rest.

Over time, desire stops being something you have to force or fake. It becomes something you understand, and something you get to welcome back on your own terms.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

Your desire isn't broken. It's waiting for the right conditions.

What we’ll work on

Imagine a life where…

  • Touch can just be touch, with nothing riding on it.

  • You know what turns your desire down, and what brings it back.

  • "Not tonight" doesn't come with a wave of guilt.

  • Desire shows up sometimes, and you're curious instead of anxious about it.

  • Sex feels like something you choose, not something you owe.

You don't have to force it anymore.

Your desire can feel like yours again.
