About Meghan Robinson, LPC, CST, CHST
You don’t have to navigate this all on your own.
I'm a licensed therapist and AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist in Herndon, Virginia, offering in-person and virtual therapy throughout Virginia for anxiety, sexuality, relationships, and the questions about identity that feel too big to navigate alone.
please Hear me when I say:
Therapy doesn’t mean you need to be fixed. It means you need to be understood.
How I work
Here's what I believe: your struggles make sense, even when they feel impossible to explain.
Struggles with sex, anxiety, or relationships don't happen in a vacuum. They often make sense in the context of past experiences, especially when connection felt unsafe, inconsistent, or out of reach. To cope, you may have learned to shut down, people-please, or over-perform. These strategies helped you survive, but they can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, others, and your sexuality.
In therapy, we'll explore these patterns with curiosity and care. My specialized training as an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and in Emotionally Focused Therapy means I can hold space for the full complexity of what you're experiencing. We look at how your past shapes your present, how your attachment experiences show up in your intimate life, and how the pieces fit together in ways that finally make sense.
Our work together isn't just about talking or gaining more insight. We focus on helping you actually feel different in your body, your relationships, and your sense of self. Building safety where there's been fear. Creating trust where there's been doubt. Reclaiming parts of yourself you've had to hide.
You don't have to hold it all together here. I welcome individuals, couples, and people in non-monogamous relationships. Whoever you are, you're welcome here.
Therapy with me is…
-
You've probably already spent a lot of time trying to figure out why you feel this way. In our work together, we move beyond just understanding to actually shifting what's underneath. This is how real, lasting change happens.
-
I've trained in both sex therapy and attachment work because I've seen how everything in our lives is connected. We won't treat your anxiety as separate from how you experience intimacy, or your relationship patterns as disconnected from how you feel in your body. We'll look at the whole picture of who you are.
-
The weight you've been carrying, the fear you've been holding, the parts of yourself you've kept hidden—all of it has a place here.
-
We're not looking for band-aids or quick wins. We're building something that lasts—real trust in yourself, genuine safety in your body, authentic connection in your relationships. The kind of foundation that supports you long after our work together ends.

As a human…
I'm a mom, wife, sister, and daughter navigating all the roles and relationships that come with being human. I'm originally from New Hampshire, made my way through Boston, and eventually put down roots in Virginia. In my free time, you'll find me reading (probably true crime), playing D&D with friends, or hanging out with my cats.
What matters more is this: I've personally navigated anxiety, neurodivergence, and my sexual identity, not just professionally, but in my own life. My therapy journey started at age 14, and it changed everything. That experience showed me what's possible when someone can hold space for all of you, messiness and all. It's why I do this work, and it's how I know that the journey home to yourself is not just possible but deeply worth taking.
You’ve been navigating this alone for too long.
I’m Here to Walk Alongside You.
